A man has been seriously injured in a stabbing at a five-star Barcelona hotel,with a manhunt on for the perpetrators.
The 23-year-old,believed to be from Eastern Europe,was stabbed in the neck following a row with three men who fled the scene.
The incident happened just after 5.30pm yesterday at the city centre Casa Fuster Hotel,on Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia avenue,which is one of its most important shopping and business areas.
Witnesses called emergency services and police raced to the scene but the suspects had already got away by the time they arrived.
The stabbing happened inside a hotel which has not been identified yet.
No arrests have yet taken place,but detectives are analysing hotel CCTV footage and other cameras in the area for clues.
